    Why isn't my generic gamepad working?


    I have a generic UBIT game controller, and for some reason it doesn't work on my PC. I have used it on my brothers PC and it worked perfectly fine but when i tried it on my Pc it doesn't work. It's not recognized, the analog button isn't glowing and whatever i tried to fix it it simply doesnt work.

    Hi,David! I'm Luis, a fellow Xbox Gamer . Thanks for reaching us out here.

    It seems that your controller might not even be getting power. Have you tried all of your PC´s usb ports?

    Oh, that could be the reason in that case. Some wheels has their own dedicated driver. But as you said is a generic wheel , the system installs a generic driver and it's the reason why you see it as a gamepad.

    May I know if you maybe checked your brand website to see if they have dedicated drivers?

    If not, you need to use that generic driver

    Hi i doesn`t have a Xbox console. I have an issue with my xbox one gamepad and Samsung TV model UE50MU6100UXRU.

    After gamepad firmware update 4.8.1923, my TV cant recognize my xbox one gamepad, before the update it worked fine.

    I`m plugging gamepad directly to USB port of my TV to play games via steam app.

    On PC my controller working perfectly.

    Gamepad firware update i made with accesory Xbox app which i downloaded from microsoft store.

    Can i downgrade firmware of my gamepad somehow?
