    Why isn’t my Call of Duty III launching ?


    I recently bought Call of Duty III chronicles because it was on sale and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have it digitally instead of the disc. I originally played CoD III on my regular Xbox and it ran perfectly. Up until yesterday when I bought the game and it just kept giving me error code “ABC FG K N U X Z”. It gave me a link to check the status of the game like updates, if the servers were down, ect. I checked and the servers were up and running without an issue. I went to Xbox support to see their steps to try and fix it. I restarted my router, restarted my console, uninstalled the game twice just to make sure it didn’t bug out or anything. After launching it a second time it gave me the same error code. Am I doing something wrong ?

    I understand you need help with your game problem.

    Try to check if all the contents of the game has already been installed.

    Please go to Games and Apps.

    Look for Call Of Duty and highlight it.

    Once highlighted, go to Manage Games and Add ons, make sure that all contents on there are already installed.

    If that does not help, try doing a reset on the Xbox.

    Let's refresh the console's system cache.

    NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

    No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Settings.

    3. Select System.

    4. Select Console info

    5. Select Reset console.

    6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

    This will also help sync the data on your console properly.
