    why isn’t a game i bought years ago on my xbox anymore


    grand theft auto five i started out on a xbox one s with it and switched to a regular xbox one and obviously it isn’t compatible for old gen so i switched back to xbox one s and my grand theft auto 5 isn’t there i have proof ive had it with videos i stream so please help me make that make sense!?

    is it not Xbox Series X|S together because when i bought the one i still had it just made me make a whole new game now i have nothing just curious?

    Check your transactions at http://account.microsoft.com to see if it shows the purchase. A One and a One S are the same gen, so if it worked on the One S, it would have been compatible on the One. If it didn't show there, it could be possible someone else had the One S as their Home and you were accessing their game.

    A Series S/X is different from a One S or X. A One, One S, and One X are all last gen. So if you had a One and a One S, those were the same generation.
