Why is Xbox secretly recording and transcribing my party chat?

I've seen multiple responses to questions posed here that explicitly say no, Xbox isn't listening in on party chat. However, today, as I was renaming a load out in Call of Duty, instead of a keyboard popping up, I got a text box that showed up with a few sentences and two options at the bottom: Start and Commit. I was confused by what I was reading at first, but then its familiarity dawned on me: it was roughly the last 30 seconds of verbal communication between my friend and I from the night before while in party chat playing Rocket League... imperfectly transcribed to text.

A. Why is this information being stored anywhere?

B. Why is it being transcribed?

C. Since A and B are true, why are there multiple lies as answers saying it isn't occurring?

See the bottom left part of the page and make sure that the page has the correct region that you are in (ex: United States - English for USA)

If not, click on it then select the correct region that you are in.

Check and confirm that you are within the available time of support under Contact times.

Click Contact us

Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

On the page, see the provided support articles that may help you with your concern. Click See contact options if further assistance is needed.

On the next page, select either Chat online or Request a call option then follow or enter the needed details.

There is no way currently to record party chat on Xbox.

There are work-arounds to record party chat and those include but are not limited to: third party recording software, streaming on Twitch or another streaming platform.

Hey Stormtrooper Deadeye no Xbox Live party chats are not recorded. But when hanging with fellow gamers and making videos you can record your Xbox party chat.

Hello,

Xbox Clips feature are just record video/audio from current game, without your party voice chat. If you need to record video with party chat you can try to start broadcasting with Twitch (dont forget to record party chat in your broadcast settings), and
then create clips from your past broadcast.
