why is xbox one x updating everytime i use it, been 2 to 3 times everyday?

You shouldn't be getting the update for the console 2 or 3 times a day. Try resetting the console, see if that helps. Instructions on how to can be found here

Yeah I used to visit these forums everyday but since the update this is the first time I've been here in at least 3 months.

The xbox one mk1 is a solid console ive no clue how the the next 2 updated versions S and X have been a complete nightmare so many bugs and glitches its a complete shambles , so many options in settings i mean why have we got instant on and energy saving
that seems to be what they tell me to do everytime i call support

I'm having an issue with my One X where everytime I boot the console up it won't connect to the internet. It will say the router is fine for signal etc but it will say NAT type unavailable and service status unavailble. I then have to disconnect the router
and reconnect it and retype the password etc everytime. Sometimes that fixes it, and other times it will still say "connect to xbox live" on the dashboard even if the settings say its connected. I then have to do a hard reset a couple of times before eventually
the dashboard will load properly. It's been doing it everyday recently. Never had an issue with my day one XB1...

I personally play everyday. Yet everytime there's a new update my console will be stuck saying updating with no progress on cod. After a very long time it will show such a big update that it's like I'm reinstalling the entire game. Every single new update this happens.
