    Why is this such a clunky and convoluted experience?


    The entire damn thing. I have a simple problem. My 10 year old wants to play Trailmakers with his school friends. Simple enough, must be some sort of privacy setting in MS family right? It's not.

    Him playing Call of Duty and murdering people? That is fine by Microsoft. Him having access to games where you can rape other people? 100% okay. Him playing a game that forces him to think about problems related to flying and building cool cars and airplanes? Whoa now, you don't have the correct settings for that!

    And to top it off, there is no easy way to fix these issues as they arise.

    The entire thing is so damn janky, I'm probably better off just cancelling everything and scalping this damn series x for 1000 bucks and buying a PS5 where the family settings are intuitive and simply work.

    Dunno, but the bringing up the home screen mid game can be a clunky experience at times.

    I'm still not sure why they ditched the mini guide.

    Still, better than nothing I suppose

    Clean and fast UI mostly. The early Xbox One UI was very clunky so I hope they've learnt from their early experience.
