Go to your network settings and in advanced options change the DNS to primary 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4

Remove your account from the console

Press and hold the power button on the console until the Xbox turns off completely.

When the indicator lights on the front panel of the Xbox turn off, unplug the power cord from the back of the Xbox.

Wait at least 30 seconds.

Reconnect the Xbox console and turn it back on.

Re-enter your account and test if the error persists.

You could check that the problem is not due to lack of configuration of the account to add friends:

And in the part of "Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety" set all features related to multiplayer, communication and friendship to "Allow".

If it won't let you log in to set up your account, there may be two reasons.

1. The date of birth of your account is underage, check it in this link:

2. You are a member of a family group, check it in this link

If you are a minor, you must enter a family group and the family group administrator must configure your account in the same way that I indicated initially.

If it did not work, try the following

Go to Settings>System>Console Information

And restart keeping your games.

Note that the console accounts will be removed, so you will need to have the email and password for each account to log back in.

it's nothing to do with the console.. This message has caused issues and will not go away, there is no factory reseting or unplugging a console, this bug literaly has caused my inbox on all of my accounts to stop updating or allow me to add anyone, this screenshot was just taken as I type this from the xbox app, I did literaly as I edit this Factory reset my console and it is still doing it, because it isn't a bug with the console 😓

I have only come across one profile that says avoid me and after 2 years I still can't figure out why? The rep system is broken. You can report someone without cause and the next day they are banned. I tested it with another player
and they were banned. Temp of course. But the guy has never played any game except with me. I made another account reported him and bam just like that he was banned. The system is broken and they are not interested in fixing it. I don't think they know how.
