Why is this latest OS update ruining my xbox one?

My xbox was stuck on a loop and failing to start because of a failed OS update, I followed all the troubleshooting steps and eventually did an offline install of the OS and even a factory reset. It seemed to work but when the console is restarted or turned off and on the loop starts all over again and sometimes crashes while it's working (for the 15-20 mins it does work) and then I'm back to square one again! I've reset it at least 6 times in the last 2 days. Was promised some help if I sent a video but haven't heard back from Microsoft. Please help?

The latest update has caused my new xbox one x to stop working as well. Everytime the update has to reset, the Xbox goes into limp mode. Took it to geek squad, they are starting to see more xbox consoles come in with the same problem. Nothing wrong with internals, just the new update.

Since none of these steps work, even though when trying to contact live support.

I would definitely agree as well what RainingRoses suggested to go on for new purchase or have a replacement.

Yep it seems like Microsoft aren't interested in customer service unlike Sony, I never have trouble with my ps4.
