Because two things you didnt do the right thing

First and foremost

Report any attacks

Doesnt matter dont engage. Block and ignore dont reply as it unblocks him.

It doesnt matter who starts the fight everyone who break the rules will be punished if reported correctly.in thos case communication suspension and maybe playing privs

Including reporting the attack to your isp

Second DDOS DOESNT occur ovrr the live network if it did noone would be able to connect as it would attack the server so enforcement doesnt see it only your interaction

If you can see him playing onlinr then you didnt report him or block him

Or he got a communication suspension only

If hes msging you still you obviously didnt block him

Your Xbox doesn't have allow ddos

maybe you should educate yourself on the internet

Xbox and psn dont run on the same protocols as the internet or ddos

Thence why attacks can't be sent thru them

your router and ip is public knowledge as you need to be visible to net to connect to it

That's what your isp should be addressing
