    Why is there still no Sleep function for the proposed all-in-one entertainment system hub...


    The inactivity timer does not suffice as a passable sleep timer for those that use the Xbox as the initially proposed all-in-one hub for cable/Blu-ray/etc.

    Why we don't have a lot of games exclusive on xbox360!!!

    The games are still there and coming gaming is the 360's main function netflix and all the apps are just nice extra's really because with xbox and ps3 and even wii to an extent consoles have evoled to entertainment hubs

    Sharp TV seems to work, except for powering on.

    Just gets better...now, a few days after finally getting TV on the X1, and then fighting it regularly on losing signal to TV, I just disconnected it. Makes a fine gaming console, but as an entertainment system, it's no better than a coaster. Or a toaster
    - both of which server better functions than the X1 does as an entertainment hub. Maybe after another 6 months or 2 or 3 2GB+ updates it will begin to function like it was designed. Maybe.

    That is not a current feature of the xbox one as it is designed to be the hub of an entertainment system with devices being plugged into the HDMI in port on your console

    Do these next gen systems run hot at all?

    The Xbox One is designed to be on for extended periods of time as it is supposed to be your main hub for all your entertainment needs. However, I am not sure about the other system because I do not currently own one of those.

    MS did the exact same thing with the 360 as well. It was NEVER marketted as a "gaming console", but as a family entertainment device.

    WHY do people still think that Xbox's are "just gaming machines"? the ONLY MS gaming machine was the original Xbox, not the 360, and not the One.
