Why is there no Paramount+ app available in the Microsoft Store on my Xbox One here in...

I can see the Paramount+ app in Microsoft Store at my Xbox, here in Norway, but I can't download it... It's unavailable at the moment.

Probably region locked in Store?

Paramount+ is available in Norway, please let me download it!

I understand that. I have researched and discovered the app is available for Xbox in the Microsoft Store for Canada. From what I also understand than is that it than should be available.

Problem is that with a stand alone Paramount+ account it won’t link to Prime or AppleTV as they offer Paramount+ subscriptions internal in their services only. This means I can not watch Paramount+ on my Xbox at the moment without a Paramount+ application.

Asked the question to see why an app that should be available is not.

You would have to ask them, app makers are responsible for their own apps, their production and distribution.

Just to let you know. Paramount+ as far as I know is not available in all regions at the moment. So if you are in country that doesn't have Paramount+, that will be why you cannot find it in the Xbox Store.

i contacted paramount+ for support and asked why the 30 day trial was available but no app and no way to stream via MS Edge this was their response:

'Thank your for response. as per checking on our system, you availed the subscription via Free Trial: 30 day on Xbox Halo and it will expire on Jul 29, 2022 3:40 PM PDT. This may be sounds funny for you but even though you got the promotion on Xbox, you can't use it to access Paramount+ as Xbox is not a supported device.'

'Thank you for contacting Paramount+. We apologize for the difficulty you're experiencing accessing Paramount+ content. As of the moment, Xbox Series is not a supported device'
