Why is there a sudden "Service Outage" on Xbox live?

I have paid the fee for Xbox live, however I have been refused the service that I have paid for.

I cannot play multiplayer games due to there being a "Service outage" and I cannot create a party due to "Network error", I am also "unable to get your messages" on the messages section.

I cannot even view my own profile as it is stated as "unavailable" whenever I try to view it, the same can be said for viewing my "friends tab."

I have checked my enforcement action to ensure I have no action taken against me, of which I am clear for.

This problem has proceeded for around half a month and has been continuing to do so. The Xbox app still works fine.

Whenever I receive the "Service outage" notification I am also prompted that the problem is only "temporary."

Does anyone have a solution to this? Or is anyone else experience the same problem? If it just me and someone could walk me through it I would be grateful.

I cannot say that this has fixed my problem unfortunately. [To be honest I've attempted said solution a couple of times over the month but it has yet to yield any results.]

I have yet to try with a new network, but I shall give it a try in the near future.

Am I correct in assuming you mean a new network provider? If not then I feel as though I may have misunderstood.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

As I have checked there is no service outage on the Xbox service alert page which you can validate when you visit this link: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

By that, we just need to perform troubleshooting steps such as extended powercycle and reset your network hardware.

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

I apologize, just trying a different network will do such as Mobile hotspot and see if that will work.
