    Why is the Xbox pc app so garbage?


    I opened up the Xbox app to play Fallout 76 but it wouldn't launch, so I tried restarting my pc and that didn't work, tried opening it in task manager, didn't work restarted my Wi-Fi, didn't work. Then I was like maybe the Fallout servers are down, so I tried to play Hi-fi Rush, AND THAT DIDNT WORK EITHER! I have a high end pc and the Xbox app is so garbage. Please fix your Xbox pc app!!!!

    Can you tell me which error message you received?

    Please, first, check your time settings, and set it to automatic.

    Press the Windows Key + X > Settings > Time & language > Date & time > Enable "Set Timezone Automatically" and "Set Time Automatically".

    Afterward, make sure your Windows is updated:

    Then, reset the Microsoft Store:

    Press the Windows Key + R

    Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

    Next, check for app updates on the store:

    With the Microsoft Store open, click on Library > Get Updates.

    After that, please, download the Gaming Services Repair tool: https://aka.ms/GamingRepairTool

    Once downloaded, execute the file by right-clicking on it and selecting Run as Administrator.

    Follow the prompts and check if the issue was resolved (Press "Y").

    Press Windows Key + X > Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Reset > Reset Now.

    Halo Infinite keeps uninstalling itself apparently.

    Wow....you know what works wonders fixing this garbage xbox app for pc. Or just stop making games on pc. Not constantly reinstalling somthing. That's why he's complaining in the first place!

    it maybe your internet or location, i downloaded 6 games on there totalling 145GB not an issue and downloaded overnight easily.

    you initiate the download in the xbox beta app but it is windows 10 store that downloads it.

    check if you missing any updates

    thats a good question, i was trying to show my friend a video i did the other day and it kept lagging and wouldn't play it all the way through, i restarted the app, and it did the same thing.

    That problem may have to do where you live. You could try reset your router, clear the app cache from Microsoft Store, our force the app to shutdown. That maybe resolve some of your problems. If you live on US, maybe its the overuse of the internet on
    that country.
