I get it that there's a boilerplate response about Xinput and Windows 10. I think that's a bunch of hooey, but on to having to work around the hooey. I have multiple programs that will act as xinput wrappers -- so that I can use controllers better suited
to my arthritic hands, such as the DS4. They, and the Steam controller support, cover every single game *outside* of the Game Pass, using Xinput. Perfectly.

Controller worked for a while on any launcher, and then it started interfering when going from the Game Pass launcher to other launchers, breaking the controller setup. Then I noticed that vice versa, going from say Steam working fine to the XBOX app not working
was common. Ensues a completely unneeded 12-15 hour long attempt to diagnose what was happening. At least it turns out not to be a hardware issue with my controller.

It's also worth noting that if you're a streamer this is particularly aggravating as you have to alter your plans repeatedly and slow down or end your entire stream. Because of this, the Game Pass has caused me nothing but trouble since I bought it. I'm not
going to spend money on their controller for a single game storefront, when it literally causes me pain to use.

Edit: Note that this includes Dead Cells, a game I have put literal hundreds of hours on using a DS4 with this software, mysteriously not wanting to work under this new launcher.

The Xbox Game Pass app is not compatible with the Xbox 360 due to the fact that Game Pass is not available for the Xbox 360. Hence why you cannot make the console the default console. The Xbox Game pass app will only work for the Xbox One.

Game Pass Games are subscription based games, and only Backwards Compatible 360 games for the Xbox One work with Game Pass.

If you have Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Gold, you can keep the Games With Gold for Xbox 360. But with only Game Pass, you can't play any backwards compatible games on the 360, and on the Xbox One, the games stop working after your Game Pass trial
ran out.

So in short: No, you can't keep Game Pass Games, be it Xbox One or Xbox 360 games. And Game Pass doesn't work on original Xbox 360 consoles at all.

But there is on the game pass app i can go into settings and choose which xbox i want to download to. But it only works for game pass games and not the games i buy on the xbox mobile app.

They told me that this is an issue with xbox live worldwide effecting the app.

They had me uninstall their app, reload it. Reset xbox one, reset router.

My Netflix app only doesn't work on the xbox one, works on laptop fine. This is why they said know Microsoft issue with xbox

Dude the game ran before and my system greatly surpasses the minimum requirements. The problem is with the Xbox game pass which it's so broken that nothing is working now. It doesn't download anything, it doesn't play anything.

I went ahead and bought the game on Steam (DIFFERENT PLATFORM FROM WHICH I'M HAVING A PROBLEM) and it works perfect. The Xbox app on the otherhand is still frozen.
