Why is the report system worse than it was before August?

So two friends of mine have been reported for "cheating" recently, one receiving a three-week suspension, the other getting a two-week, for simply playing the game in a way that bothered someone. These people must be getting on multiple accounts, reporting
my friends for everything possible.

Since the system has proven to NOT work effectively since XBOX One launched, it's time to rid of it completely, if Microsoft cannot address issues properly.

Sony has tried to copy the XBOX Enforcement Team's setup, only theirs is even more strict... the report system on these consoles is just a damn mess, and it needs to either work or go away.

this update to Microsoft edge is a total joke you have made it worse than ever before, it crashes all the time turns itself off back to the home screen. the way it was before was better why change something that is not broken and the way to navigate it is
much worse as well stop messing every thing up.

I suppose that's one way to put it. I'm guessing they probably got suspended for glitching or exploiting a game vulnerability, which is a direct violation of the
Code of Conduct.

Xbox Live is not going to be a fun place if you were to suddenly remove the report/ban system... so don't expect anything drastic happening anytime soon.

You do not know the actual offence they were suspended for.Even they are not given specific details.

Any report filed is investigated before any action is taken,you will never get suspended just because someone reported you,no matter how many times you get reported.Due to the time it takes to investigate a report your friends would of been suspended for
something they did weeks ago or longer.It is extremely rare for anyone to get a instant suspension/ban.

Your friends did something & due to the length of the suspensions it was either not the first time they have been suspended or whatever they did was quite a severe violation of the ToU/CoC.

Xbox live enforcement works fine as it is & isn't going anywhere.It hasn't changed since August.In fact the system is pretty much the same since xbox live began.

If people didn't violate the ToU/CoC then they wouldn't get suspended.

If your friends want to file for a case review then they need to go to the enforcement site here

The entire system is a sham. Punishing someone without providing exact reason as to why he/she was punished is unjust. After having spoken to several reps over the phone, even they admitted that the "Enforcement" team is like The Wizard of Oz. No one
knows who they are, where they are, or how to reach them. It's like standing before an invisible judge and jury, but the executioner has already raised his axe above your head.

I hope folks begin to take legal action against Microsoft for such a fraudulent method of punishment.

Apparently Microsoft says "trolling" and "smack talk" are different things. What the Hell is the difference? There is NONE.

Microhard is already dead LAST in console sales, behind both Nintendo and Sony. Maybe this faulty system of theirs is only pushing people away, too. Idiots.
