Why is the new Xbox UI just an ad for game pass and why can’t I personalize anything on it

I agree it is horrid and not fit for purpose.

You're not the only one who finds it annoying.

I don't understand why, in the year 2023 (!), we're getting stuck with a home screen that's less customizable than its predecessor.

I must have wasted about an hour in Settings or in Assist, trying to clean up the mess on my own, before I realized that the problem is the interface, not the user.

It's definitely more of a downgrade than an upgrade. A 100% thumbs down until we can can have the SIMPLE abilities to customize how we want the UI to be. And I hope more people start chiming in, because over on the most popular forum site on the internet, pretty much everyone hate this new change.

I agree with everyone else, this is just a terrible UI change.

Why is “Recently Added - Game Pass” listed before the Groups I want to use every time I sign on? Why can’t I just move it down to where I can live with it? Or just delete this forced group?

I could live with the four big advertisement rectangles if you just let my put my Groups/games next.

And I like being able to see the game pass stuff, I had it on listed on my old home page as the next thing after my main group. The way it’s being forced on me now is really off putting.
