Why is the game size been removed in the Xbox store?

The game install sizes are also listed on the Xbox One game store, on the console and here on Xbox.com. The download sizes are exactly the same as the disc install sizes.

As to the install size to actual game size ratio, that one is easy to explain. The size of a game install isn't necessarily bigger because the game is 'bigger'. The size really depends on the game assets, things such as textures, high definition audio and
HD video sequences. This explains why AC4 is 7.63GB on Xbox 360, and 20.81GB on Xbox One.

Hi there Zero welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I completely understand were you're coming from; the size on the Microsoft Store is accurate for the first "version" of the game.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare is a clear example of what you are stating; the game weights around 20 G.B but after the updates it almost is 100 G.B! Why do Microsoft doesn't put the final size of the game on the store? The answer I got it from Xbox support and they told me that this is due to how unpredictable updates are, a developer/publisher can update his game 10 times a week, making this the game heavier or lighter! And Microsoft would have to change the size everytime, updating the store as well.

So yes, this is a reason, I completely understand your concern, I was on the same spot as you are, unfortunately right now the only way to know the real size of a gane is to download it ourselves! Or try to find the final size on a forum! (But like I said, there are a lot of updates for games so the forum size might be outdated.)

Why is there 2 versions of the master chief collection on the xbox store. One tells you the GB size and the other one doesn't WHY? I when to the official club then see in store then bought Halo Reach but won't download even though i own it?? Then i go through
the Xbox store and search halo and have to REBUY IT there WHY?? So i do and it downloads no problem and plays fine so why is there an MMC collection with no GB size??? Dont buy the one without telling you how big the GB is, it doesn't work for the Xbox one
and it has a 2 star rating where the other has a 4 star rating.

Also in this directory / F:\WindowsApps / Im seeing 2 folders of the same size, totalling 100gbs, the game install was 54gbs or so, did the xbox app store 2 installs of this game in this folder? If so why? It's eating lots of storage space.
