Why is the events app still being forced onto customers as a beta?

Give the pc time the xbox bar is still in beta so these mistakes happen

No. Microsoft removed notifications from the functional companion app and forced the gamebar onto pc users. They dont get the benefit of "give it time" when they made it the only option despite it not being ready.

Oh okay. Does it matter if the event beta app updated by it self? Cause Im not part of that beta program . I tried posting in review, but it said i had to own the app 1st , and its in my apps right now . Thanks for responding . Just covering my bases here,and making sure Im not still being attacked after having to reset whole console 2 days ago.

The question should be: why wasn't this version the version that was released in the first place? The implication being that capcom treats its loyal fans/customers as beta testers. There's no justifcation for that.

Choice would be to offer the option of a Kinect or a Kinect less package. Then if neither appeal, do not buy.

Not buying something as a piece of hardware you do not want is being forced onto you is not "choice". That is lack of options leading to a unwanted decision.

How is forcing Kinect onto people going to tell developers people will use it for gaming or at all?

How are they going to tell the difference between people that will use Kinect and people that will just unplug it never to use it or sell it, or destroy it?

So going back to a tired point...why force it onto people that do not want it?

Will this not also affect Microsoft's profits? Giving away a piece of hardware they have paid to develop, build and sell that people will not use.

I'm not saying allowing people to chose Kinect or not will be 100% accurate...but it'll be a much more accurate figure than forcing onto people and just "hoping" they use it.

At least with people choosing Kinect of their own free will...you know there is a market there.

Besides, I'm the one stating that Kinect being forced onto people will not sway developers at all.

It's still in beta.

As ngocphi said,you need to be in the Insider programme or use the beta xbox app.

If you can't do that you will just have to wait until the custom gamerpics feature is made public.
