Why is starfield freezing every time it tries to autosave? I'm playing via cloud gaming.

I have Spectrum and enough bandwidth for all the other games on my Xbox-X. It’s awful. I am experiencing false quits many many times in a session. I also have freezes of the entire game when leaving the TA in Akila and after sleeping it freezes on auto save. I have tried removing saves and unplugging. If I can play Destiny I should be able to play this game. I want my money back.

Try deleting the autosave file. It must have been corupted somehow. It should make a new autosave file next time it needs to.

This may have been caused by the console freezing during an autosave. Be sure to save manually, often and backup your saves to the cloud to be safe.

There is currently a service alert up for cloud gaming, hence why you cannot play Starfield on the cloud. Microsoft are aware of it, and are working on a fix.

I feel your pain. I lost my whole game.. .2 weeks worth of play. Xbox has inferred that the issuebis the "cloud beta". I'm just wondering why Microsoft would initiate the cloud based save system during the release of Starfield. Everyone that has ever played a Bethesda game knows they are infamous in their own right for having game save issues.

I personally have quit Starfield and won't Plat any games that require cloud saves until (if they ever do) Xbox fixes the problem.
