Why is myXbox tv is showing no signal when turning the xbox on but sound is connected?

just to be sure, is your console registered in one of the Xbox Insider rings?
I had a similar issue a while ago and that seemed to have been related to the Xbox Insiders update, it also showed some static screen instead of the start up logo. I was able to 'fix' it by doing a power cycle of the console (sometimes a couple of times)

Hello, i have no idea what “xbox insider rings” means

I have tried doing a power cycle a couple of times and there was no difference, still stuck on the same issue..

I can stay connected for about a week and then it will stop syncing with hy directv STB. A hard reset of the Xbox will correct the issue. Also, when it stops working it seems like that is the time when I say Xbox On and the Xbox doesn't send any IR signals
to my receiver, tv and stb because nothing else turns on. Then when I turn on manually I can't see or hear the TV anymore. I've set the STB to 720p and no surround sound.

I have had the same issue on my sharp aquos. The issue seems to be related to xbox one controlling the signal to the tv when you allow one guide to power the tv off and on through hdmi signal. I deselected this and it has fixed the issue. This has to be
a signal coding issue with the xbox one. My ps4 and we work just fine turning the tv off and on and allowing video and sound. Hopefully xbox looks into this
