Why is my xbox unable to connect to the xbox servers.

I am unable to play any multiplayer games. I checked my internet and it is working perfectly fine, I can download games without any problem but i cant play any games online. Also this is definitely not a NAT problem because when I tested it, it said that it works perfectly fine.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Thank you so much for the detailed information, Cqwl. We may need to perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware to refresh the connection between your Xbox and your router by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

But the error states unable to connect to xbox live servers or something to that point... so microsofy is not responsible for the server issues?

Sorry to hear it. It seems as though quite a few people are experiencing this. I would recommend posting the ESO forums about it.

I appreciate your reply. It turns out that your Xbox app is unable to connect to the Xbox server due to a network issue that's why you're unable to sign in. Having an error message, "Teredo is unable to qualify" wants to inform you that
your computer is unable to obtain a Teredo IP address which is needed to establish a secure connection between the Xbox app and to the Xbox server. In order for you to sign in, I recommend that you follow the solutions provided on this

My Xbox hasn't got built in wifi, which is why I'm using an ethernet cable.

I'm getting the error "your dns server can't resolve xbox live server names".

My xbox connects to the network but not the internet.

And I have tried setting Googles DNS servers and the OpenDNS servers, which resulted in it not even connecting to the network
