Why is my Xbox Tenure Badge gone?

Well it needs an active subscription of Xbox Live Gold (Includes games pass and ultimate) to have the tenure badge. I have not posted before about this issue but clicked the link and can see someone else did (although their account was only 5 years old).

I appreciate this is not a particularly hot topic... but it’s nice when you check out a profile and realise that they probably have the same memory of games and consoles past - it helps me to see at a glance who can remember what XBL was before the ‘current’ generation.

It's not a badge, it's just tenure. When you don't have an active gold subscription you won't see it. It can take some time to show back up after you restart Gold. So you just have to be patient for it to be added back.

I have checked my subscriptions and was Gold from June 2006 until September 2020 when my card details changed and it didn’t auto-renew, have updated payment details and now it’s Gold again.

Checking on my Xbox one profile, has always had a badge since 360 days but no longer shows?

The tenure badge only shows if you have an active gold or gamepass ultimate subscription.

If you've renewed your gold again after not having it for a bit your tenure should reappear but it sometimes takes a while.The tenure badge can be a bit slow to update sometimes.
