Why is my xbox so dark?

I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with your console.

Would you mind giving this a try?

• Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
• Unplug the console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox One, you'll have to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the outlet.
• Turn your TV off and unplug it for 1 minute.
• Plug everything back together, turn your console on, and check if the issues persist.

If that doesn't work, I'd appreciate your answering the following questions:

- May I ask which Xbox model you are using?

- Is this happening across multiple games and the console's menus?

- Are there any special viewing modes enabled on your TV?

- Could you go to Settings > General > TV & Display options > Video modes, and disable all HDR and Dolby Vision options?

Hi there dark souls 1 is not yet backwards compatibly so that is why you have not received a code once it is you will get a message on Xbox one to redeem a code.

I tried to buy the DLC for dark souls and it had the same message, WTF. Why can't I just buy it from my xbox.

^^ See, that's what I don't like. Short games. That is why I start 90% of them on hard right away to get more time out of them. Luckily, Skyrim and Dark Souls are both long games so I really felt like I didn't waste my money.

The Darkness 2 is short so that's why I am playing on hard and I'm gonna try to get 1000/1000 to make it last longer.

I was happy to play outside as a kid. Why is it so awful? My little friends and I wouldn't return to our home until after dark. Going inside sucked.
