why is my xbox only showing quick tips and after ive tried everything i could it still wont...

Have you tried to reset your console?

Please, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

Hi Dérek, I have the same problem I have all boxes checked to allow but it still will not let me play multiplayer, ive triple checked everything and it wont work. Any tips?

hey, ive tried readdint it to my account, and paying it, but it just says the same as before. when its already chosen as the payment type, it says something went wrong and i have to try again later. and if i still have to choose it as payment type it wont let me choose it.

and if i try it on a different game, it still wont work. itll say the exact same as the other times.

Quick note: ive tried it yesterday too, on multiple devices.

Under settings, then account , all options that show something with a name show my old gamer tag, I could not find any account option under the settings, and then system option but when I play a game then it shows my new gamer tag, iv only just finished downloading a game to play, I don't understand why I still have to see my old gamer tag on everything else though

ive tried everything on the support website, but my wireless adapter wont stop flashing green and wont connect to internet still. and it was connected to the same internet 2 days ago but i took it to a friends house and it wont re connect again.
