Why is my xbox one so delayed and slow?

I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with your console.

• Do you have an external storage unit plugged into your console? if you do, would you mind giving this a try?

- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug all external storage units from the console, and leave them like that.
- Unplug your console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox One you'll have to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the outlet.
- Plug the power cord in.
- Turn your console on.
- Check if the issues persist even when your external storage units are unplugged.

• If that doesn't work or you are not using external storage, would you mind if we performed a soft factory reset on your console? By "Soft" I mean that none of your games will be uninstalled, but accounts and local save data will be removed from the console. This would help refresh your system as well as clear any temporary files that may be causing this.

To do so:

- Turn your console off and unplug it for 30 seconds.
- Plug your console back into the outlet.
- While the console is off, press and hold the BIND and EJECT buttons.
- Without letting go of them, press the power button once (do not hold).
- Continue holding BIND and EJECT for 15 seconds or until you hear a second boot-up sound.
- Select "Reset this Xbox" followed by "Keep games and apps"

Just keep in mind you will need an internet connection and your account details (email and password) for each of your accounts to sign in after the reset.

* The BIND button is the one used to link controllers to your console and the EJECT button is the one used to eject disc games.

** If you have an Xbox One S All-digital edition you can bring up the troubleshooter by holding the BIND button only, as your console doesn't have an EJECT button.

*** Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and Xbox Live services, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.

It's a heavy weapon and a real beast when it runs but sometimes you're to slow and having a delay in close combat, another con is also the long reload times. So thats the reason why the most players use a MP and/or a AR.

I'm not seeing the 45 to 60 second delays. Slow yes but not even close to being that slow so you may have another issue.

My One Guide can take 15 to 20 seconds to open at times. In the past checking achievements and messages could also take that long which is why I stopped doing it.

It could be your ISP's DNS, I know on the 360 switching to the Google DNS made a significant improvement for lots of people. I have TWC so it could actually be part of my problem, it just hasn't annoyed me enough to test the theory yet.

Are you sure it's not latency induced from your display running post processing effects to enhance the image?

Never really notice it on xbox or my PSP
