    Why is my Xbox One Series X/S Controller Entering Inputs for the Web Browser


    I am able to use my Xbox controller with a wired connection with no problems for steam and games on steam but, whenever I try to play a game on Xbox Cloud Gaming the controller enters in inputs for the game and also the web browser. For example when I try to run in a game like sea of thieves, or any other, it opens up a pop up keyboard or if I press the menu button it exits out of full screen and opens up a bing search window to the right of the web browser.

    Hi! My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

    Do you have Steam running in the background? Steam Input can remap controller inputs to mouse/keyboard inputs. I recommend closing Steam and any other 3rd party apps that may interfere with controller functionality.

    No. The game will only be available on Windows 10 & Xbox Series X|S. However, the game will be coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming, so if you have Game Pass Ultimate, you will be able to play the game via the cloud on iOS, Android, PC web browser & Xbox One Web Browser.

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.

    Can a Xbox X controller connect to a 360 Xbox

    Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X controllers work on Xbox Series X|S, and vice versa. However, Xbox 360 is on it's own, similar to the OG Xbox.

    What's cool however is if you remote stream Xbox One, One S, One X, Series S, or Series X on, say, a PC, you can plug in a 360 controller and use it on the newer generation.

    But no, newer controllers aren't supported on 360.
