    Why is my Xbox One glitching out everytime I try to sign in?


    I've had this Xbox One for a few years now and it was given to me as a gift from one of my mom's co-workers. I'm assuming he's had it for a long time before he gave it to me because it has had some issues but I've always been able to figure them out. However, recently my Xbox has been glitching out every time I try to sign in. It works fine on the other accounts I have on there, except for mine. I don't know why it only glitches out on my account. Every time I sign in, it just stops working and sometimes turns off by itself. It has been happening for a few days and won't stop and I really don't want to buy a new one. It showed the error code 0x80070bfd but I cannot find it anywhere. I tried talking to the virtual agent but it didn't understand what was happening and I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Is there any way I can fix it?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If this is only happening with your account let's then remove and re-add it and check if there will be an improvement.

    REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

    ​​​

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

    2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

    3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

    4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

    ​​​

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    ADD ACCOUNT​​​

    ​​​

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

    2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

    3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

    4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

    5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​
