Why is my xbox not detecting my usb after trying to do 3 offline updates

I see. Make sure that only the offline update file is stored in the USB flash drive and that the USB flash drive is formatted to NTFS format. The console should detect it properly after doing that.

My Xbox One S was unable to startup, so I tried to perform Offline System Update using USB drive.

But during offline update using USB, step 1 and step 2 went successful. But during step 3 (42%), it goes into continuous loop of restarting and updating from (34% - 42%) and restarts and try again. This is in continuous loop.

Please help what to do now.

When you connect via a cable you say the Xbox detects it but what happens after that? Does the update continue to fail or does the Xbox not connect to the Network at all after being detected?

Once a factory reset is done network troubleshooting can be rather difficult since the Network settings can no longer be accessed. However there is a fix to get back to the dashboard by going through a process called an Offline system update (OSU). You will
need:

• A Windows-based PC with an Internet connection and a USB port.
• A USB flash drive with a minimum 4 GB of space formatted as NTFS.

Follow this support article for guidance and the file for the OSU along with a link for instructions on formatting the USB flash drive. Just select "I NEED TO UPDATE MY CONSOLE OFFLINE" and the process is laid out step by step:

OK, so after chatting with support like 5 different times, they decided to let me know that the 'offline update tool' might work... pretty tedious, but once I downloaded and unzipped the OSUDT2 to an NTFS-formatted USB drive (empty except for the update
folder), and ran through the hard update sequence on the console with the USB drive plugged in... IT WORKS AGAIN. I have no idea why the same update bricked my remote when doing it automatically through the console while working when doing it offline, but,
it worked for me.

Hopefully it will work for y'all, too. My current software is 10.0.10586.1026
