why is my Xbox menu freezing then unfreezing out of no where

I did everything in this and its still going slow, is there anything else I can do to fix this?

Would you please try these steps?

First, clear Xbox local saved games and cache:

Press the Xbox Button > System > Settings > System > Storage > Clear local saved games (Note: Just do this if your saves are saved in the cloud, else they'll be lost)

Press the Xbox Button > Settings > System Settings > Storage.

Highlight but don't select a storage device, and then press Y on your controller for Device Options.

On the Device Options screen, select Clear System Cache.

When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

Remove Account:

1. Press the Xbox button. ​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then Remove. ​​​

4. Close. ​​​

Power Reset:

1. If you have an external HD, please unplug it and let it unplugged for testing purposes.

​​​2. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

3. Unplug all the cables (power, HDMI, etc..) and wait 5 minutes.

4. After 5 minutes, plug all the cables in again (except for the external HD) and then turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console.

Add Account:

​​​1. Press the Xbox button. ​​​

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

3. Enter the Email Address and the Password.​​​

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console again.

If nothing else has worked, you could try performing a reset.

1. Settings > System > Console info.
   
2. Select Reset console.
   

You can try the option to reset and keep your apps and games.

If that doesn't work, as a last resort, you can try resetting it to factory. Note that this will wipe your console completely.

I had your first problem, the glitchy freeze and unfreeze. I can confirm that after i deleted my c.o.d. elite download that i downloaded from xbox live, the freeze and unfreeze stoped. I have not tried to download it again, guess i don't really need it as
i'm not to into stats. u could try to delete and re download it if u are into stats and see if it stops glitching.

Yeah that didnt work. Its definitely a bug because it runs extremely smooth for the first 10mins or so then it starts freezing and everytime I hit the home button, it unfreezes.

Where do I go from here...?
