    I have a 1000Mbps Internet connection.

    I connect my xbox one to the router using a cat 6 cable for it to use the Internet but the download speed is always <100Mbps.

    How to make it faster?

    Raw speed is what you have when you do a speed test.

    The actual speed depends on the sites you visit. Every site can limit you access.

    Think of it like a car. Your car has a top speed of 200mph, but not evry road can handle that speed.

    It does not matter if i am sure or not. Its a fact. Its all theoretical. The speed test is your raw speed, the server in which you download from can throttle the speed.

    Consoles cannot surpass over around 500 Mbps, atleast with the older generation like Xbox one and ps4 they couldn't, either with the new generation its more

    The maximum (theoretical) download speed the Xbox One would be 125MB/s over a wired gigabit connection. Over a wireless connection, using the theoretical full speed of the IEEE 802.11n standard, would be 37.5MB/s (300Mb/s). This is theoretical
