why is my xbox controller's right stick constantly going up, it is not stick drift, it is...

FPS is the worst for controllers developing drift as you are constantly pushing down on the sticks and thus loosening the springs/mechanism inside.. also click to sprint is a killer for sticks!

Performed some more checks using the controller app and although it was aiming right which is why I thought it was the right stick it actually turns out the left stick has the issue drifting right.

It's only slight but seems to stick like that 1 in every 3 moves of the stick. The app at least shows me what was happening.

Xbox one has by far the WORST controller EVER out of any console I've ever tried! I have been an Xbox fan since day one. I've had a total of 4 Xbox consoles. I just took back three controllers for the same left thumb stick problem, in the span of two weeks.
It snaps, clicks, and sticks while playing any kind of sports games. They are just made so cheaply. The plastic feels like it is going to fall apart in my hands, my hands aren't big, and I haven't been a fisherman all my life or anything. So my hands aren't
overly strong. But still it constantly feels more lose every time I use it. And I own 4. PS4 is starting to look better every time I pick up a controller. I think a switch my be in order. Sorry Microsoft... But for over all quality... You did something in
your bed that no one would be happy to clean up.
