Why is my Xbox asking me to put my password to my internet every time I turn it on.

Try moving your Xbox closer to the router or consider using a Wi-Fi range extender to improve the signal strength.

Other electronic devices or neighboring Wi-Fi networks can cause interference, disrupting the connection process.

Change your Wi-Fi channel on the router to avoid interference from nearby networks. You can access your router settings through a web browser by entering the router's IP address.

If there's a problem with your network settings or DHCP lease, it may prevent the Xbox from connecting smoothly.

Restart both your Xbox and router to reset the network settings and DHCP lease. Additionally, check for any firmware updates for your router that may resolve compatibility issues.

An outdated Xbox firmware can lead to connectivity problems.

Ensure your Xbox has the latest firmware update installed. You can check for updates in the Settings menu.

It's possible that you inadvertently mistyped the Wi-Fi password or it was changed without your knowledge.

That link did not help... at all. I'm talking about my 360 not my microsoft account, I never added anything from anywhere for my xbox to ask me my e-mail and password. I do not know why any of this crap is coming up in the first place when I sign in to xbox
live, I never changed anything about my security proofs. Why does it keep asking me for my Microsoft account and password to sign in to xbox live EVERY time???? This is becoming a f*cking nuisance. Xbox has a dashboard update, something on my end gets messed
up every time. Whether it's this bullsh*t about signing in, my DLC not working, even though it's already on my hard drive. my game taking forever to load up, my game not wanting to load up, my xbox freezing, my saved games not working, needing to re-download
everything for no damn reason.

I don't want to jump through 4,000 loop holes to get to one god damn spot. Alls I want is for my xbox to stop asking me the same *** thing every *** time I sign in to xbox *** live. I really don't understand how that link helps with any of that. I can't
do it on my console because it tells me to go to xbox.com for more information.

So far I have tried every type of reset except the one that erases everything from the console, clearing my Mac address, putting my password in multiple times for my internet, and resetting my internet .

I have not tried an ethernet connection because my xbox is in a different room.

I have connected my xbox to a different network and it worked just fine.

Ok so i have tried every suggestion that you guys have given to me and I greatly appreciate it. However, everythime i try and connect it comes back and says that it cannot connect to the internet. It says something about my DNS server. I can access the internet
on my computer but when i try and go to a webpage it ask me for a username and login and i have to login with that name and password before the internet will even open. When i open the internet and try to go to xbox.com it will ask me for a user name and password
on a brown motorola screen. I put everything in and it works right away. Second my Wireless router is a Motorola Gateway Mode # SBG6580. So if anyone can think of anything else to my original post along with this follow up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I keep getting this error code appear too. For about a week every time I log onto my box it has been asking for my email address, my password and then asking if I want it to remember my password. After all this it was telling me of xbox code 80048821 which
basically meant either my password was wrong or my account did not have live. I knew my password was correct and I did have live because firstly I signed into the xbox website on my phone and secondly it was signing me into live in the background of my Xbox
when asking for my email and password. I got through this by just clicking through it all multiple times then pressing the Xbox button and I stayed logged in. Now it's just telling me every time to try again later error code: 80151011 . I completely understand
the idea of Xbox proofs, they just don't seem necessary considering they cause this much trouble .. Xbox live costs so much money and now I'm just wasting away days unable to play it.
