    Why is my Xbox account think that I'm American ?


    So I can't change my account gamer tag unless I put in an American address which I don't have. I live in Canada and I can't change my gamer tag unless I put in an American address.

    Weird part the first time I did it, it charged my PayPal the $9.99 & never changed my gamertag ???

    How do I fix this ????

    Yes, I did include US English because there was & still is no English (CAD)

    Kindly sign in to https://social.xbox.com/changegamertag then make sure that the locale is set to Canada. Here you go:

    Well it's easy goto my account and manage my region

    Keep in mind your account has to be older then 3months or 3months since you last used the region migration tool

    You might wanna check with whoever you share your account with if they changed your region

    Be it your kids spouse etc

    When you setup your account did you select us region ?

    This includes language

    Change the region on Xbox Account

    Well, the Problem is that I can´t use a german gift Card Code on an american xbox account.

    So I wouldn´t be able to get Money on the xbox account.

    Changing the Location on the profile doesn´t help and the Microsoft account already is set to Germany.

    I don´t know why but the xbox account still thinks that it is in america...
