Why is my xbox account connected to my Microsoft account

I totally understand, Jamie but I am afraid that if your MS account and Xbox profile are already linked, I'm sorry but the only option for you to use a different Xbox account is to create a new one and then share your games with it. I am afraid there's no option to separate them at the moment.

Just launch the Microsoft Store app and sign in with your main account that has the entitlement. At the upper right corner of the screen click the ellipses button (…) and select Settings then scroll to Offline Permissions and toggle it to On.

I wish i know that the Xbox account would be with my Microsoft account before i made it because know i will have an Xbox account on my mean Microsoft i use for my computer and stuff and i didnt want that because i dont want people tro know my Microsoft information

A Microsoft account is not the same thing as an Xbox account, although you can use the same email address for both. If you're using the same email for your Microsoft and Xbox profiles, all your game progress will be saved on that specific email. Hi, Jamie! Thanks for your reply. Are you using the same email? If yes, all your progress is already tied up to that email. You can change the email but it will also be the same with your Microsoft account so you won't lose your games or progress. Please make sure not to remove any email alias that’s connected to a Microsoft domain since it will completely be deleted from completely deleted as also advised on the support link above.
