    Why is my series x not responding anymore.


    My series x has stopped responding to anything. I've switched controllers, soft reset, hard reset and am considering a factory reset. No matter how many times I try, nothing happens.

    Now it completely skips the log in screen and shows the dashboard as if there's no internet. I am unable to open the settings menu at all with any controllers. I have three official Xbox controllers, two turtle Beach and a Microsoft pc controller. None of them seem to work on my series x anymore.

    They all work perfectly fine on my One x, my wife's One S and my old, old 2nd gen Xbox one.

    My series x is less than a year old and was working fine a few hours ago when I was watching movies. It's never done anything like this before.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Please perform a powercycle on your console by following the steps below accordingly:

    "1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Unplug your console for 5 minutes

    3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​"

    After that, check if there will now be an improvement.

    Will there be Xbox One X Enhancement patches on the Series X?

    I know that Series S can't use the XIX enhancements. I'm asking if the Series X
    will be using the XIX Enhancements. Thank you for taking the time to respond however.
    Yes, why wouldn't it be? Faster processor, graphics and more RAM (16 GB). I did already state in my previous reply that Series X will play X1X enhanced titles.

    Digital Foundry (a popular YouTube tech channel) have shown a video of Gears 5 running on Series X.

    Not only was Series X running the X1X Gears game, the developer has enhanced it again for Series X.

    There's not a One X series. There is a One X and a Series X. A Series X (and Series S) are the newest consoles and what new games will be released for. Anything labelled as a One is old gen and studies are not releasing many games for those anymore.

    Hi DanielGreci, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If this is happening with multiple controllers you will be needing to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.
