    Why is my save data not transferring to my new GTA Online purchase?


    I subscribed to GTA+ last week. However, I was informed today that it is not compatible with my GTA V purchase (bought last week as well) because it is the Xbox One version. So I decided to purchase the updated Series S version of the game today. However, it is not allowing me to transfer my data. I don’t even know what else to do. Did I just waste my money??

    So I have GTA V for 360 an I also got the Xbox one version too. So will that transfer over too. Like my story progerss? Or do I need to transfer my story save data to the cloud first?

    Thanks for the reply but I wasn’t trying to transfer my character text box one I’ve had Xbox one for a while and have my character on there for my saved data was missing but for some reason I had to GTA digital games in my ready to install so I deleted
    the one I had and download the other one and the saved game data Was in the other one that I download it’s weird that I had two digital GTA games

    1. You'll want to buy a slim or super slim anyway.

    2. If you still want your data, you can also purchase an HDD transfer kit to transfer your old saves and data to your new console.

    Any USB stick can transfer data from one hardrive to the other, i remember transferring my resident evil 5 save from my old xbox to my new xbox.
