Why is my pre order bonus for resident evil village gone?

Please try the following steps:



1. Restart your Xbox console: Sometimes, restarting your console can help resolve issues with pre order bonuses not showing up. To restart your console, press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for 10 seconds. Once the console has turned off, wait a few seconds and then turn it back on.



2. Check for updates: Ensure that your Xbox console is up to date with the latest system updates. To check for updates, go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads > Console update available.



3. Check your purchase history: Check your purchase history to ensure that you have pre order bonuses on your account. To do this, go to account.microsoft.com and sign in with your Microsoft account. Select Payment & billing > Order history, and then select the order that includes the add-ons and DLC.



4. Check the game's add-ons and DLC section: Some games have a separate section for add-ons and DLC. Check the game's add-ons and DLC section to see if the content is available there.
-In My games & apps, highlight a game (but don’t select it).
-Press the Menu button  on your controller, and then select Manage game and add-ons.
-Select the game tile, and then select each checkbox for which items you want to install.
-Select Install, to confirm the installation.

I'd personally ask game stop about the bonus DLC since they screwed up, and they might be able to give you a code with proof you did pre order of course. Otherwise, its normally available to purchased as separate content on the Xbox marketplace. I've seen a fair few games that have done this after a couple weeks or so of release.

^^ He's talking about Resident Evil HD set for release later this month. Sony are offering both the PS3 and PS4 versions together as a pre-order bonus.

F TANK - it's a pre-order bonus dude. Microsoft/Xbox has dubious incentives posing as exclusive offers too, when you pre-order games, it's becoming a trend for the new generation. Heh.
