Why is my new realm not showing?

I understand that you are having trouble on your purchased Realm is not showing, and I understand your confusion.

According to your description, you renewed this subscription but it still shows as inactive, but the payment was completed and you purchased it from PS5, which is usually the case, there are a number of reasons for this problem:

1. Payment processing delays: Some payment methods may take longer to process transactions, especially if the bank or payment processor's system is busy.

2. Account verification issues: If your account is newly registered or you have not made a similar purchase before, the system may require additional verification steps.

3. Network or server issues: Occasional network outages or game server maintenance may cause delays in transaction processing.

4. Purchase Restrictions or Policy Issues: Game developers or platforms may have specific purchase restrictions or policies that may affect the completion of transactions.



For your situation, please try the following:

1. Check your account balance and transaction history: Log in to your game account or the relevant payment platform and check your account balance and recent transaction history to confirm whether the transaction has been recorded but not yet completed.

2. Contact the game developer or platform customer service

Based on this situation, typically, if the order is not processed, the money must be returned to your payment provider within 24 hours. It may show as taken, but it is actually a pending transaction, now if the transaction has been completed, you should see the order details, including the order number, via

Microsoft account | Order history page. If you can see the order history correctly, there may be a delay in the arrival of the subscription.

Signing in via the Minecraft launcher has given me a realm but it isn't my realm but a brand new one, how do I get my realm back?

Sorry to hear your Realm is still showing as expired. Can you please try to go in here and check if your Realm is listed as active under your subscriptions? https://account.microsoft.com/services

When you go to Minecraft > Settings > Subscriptions > My subscriptions. The only Realm listed in here is the expired Realm that you renewed? Or is there a new Realm? Because sometimes when you renew a Realm server, instead of it renewing that Realm, it creates a new one so I want to check if that is what happened in your case.

With regards to your issue, do you see the realm active in the game or if it is showing 2 realms?

Because based on the Minecraft FAQ page: Whether you are trying to dust off an old Realm or just forgot to extend your time, you may want to renew an expired Realm. Currently it is not possible to add time to an expired Realm. However, the world within the expired Realm is not lost! After you purchase a new subscription and create a new Realm it is possible to move any backups made of the world within the expired Realm to the new Realm.

So I've found out how to fix the issue, it's really simple. God knows how both MS and Mojang don't know how to fix it.

So it turns out you can't renew an expired realm subscription, but you CAN replace the new world in a new realm with your old world from your expired realm:

1. On your expired realm, click "edit", then go to "game" and there is an option to download your world, so download it.

2. Buy a new 10 person realms plus subscription and create a new world within that realm. It doesn't matter what the name is or anything (looks like you've already done this part).

3. On your new realm, click "edit", then go to "game" and there is an option to REPLACE your world in the new realm.

4. Replace the newly made world in the new realm with the world from your expired realm that you downloaded.

5. Invite all of your previous members to the new realm and play. Your old world should be exactly as it was, with every member's inventory intact.
