Why is my Microsoft-account suddenly non-existant?

My son has been playing this non stop since the 5th May, why would it suddenly stop?

Why not make an account with a non-existent email and get the code? Obviously it is too late now, but it takes about 5 seconds to do.

My thoughts exactly, Microsoft’s customer service is NON-EXISTENT. That’s why they created this forum so we could do their job for them. We should all push for compensation or demand a refund.

It says my email address on the profile I'm posting this from, click the link I provided, that's my email. I'm also only here because I received an email notifying me of your reply -- because it clearly knows my account exists and what email it is associated with. When I click the top right, account management menu, it displays my email, but when I click "My Microsoft account" then suddenly my account does not exist.
