Why is my main Xbox account locked?

I’ve tried resetting my console and my pc is up to date, the thing is that I can’t sign into my other account at all that has all my purchased games and stuff on it because it’s locked for some reason

We know how important it is for you to sign into your account and this has been locked. Based on your description, your account got locked out and you were unable to figure it out. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

Account locked happens when there is a suspicious activity detected that have had violate Microsoft’s Terms of Use agreement. This usually being resolved by verification of your account and if there is no Next option after you sign in then you will need to read the instruction on the screen.

For your convenience in reading this support article, you may try the read aloud feature of Microsoft Edge browser. Just highlight the article by pressing Windows + A or drag your mouse on the article from top to bottom. Then, use read aloud feature by pressing Control + Shift + U.

Sorry I've been busy the last few days and missed the email.

I still don't understand why my account is locked and how to fix the problem.

I have been sharing my account the last 6 months with online friends of mine ever since I moved to a very rural area.

I just want to know whats going on at the very least. After 13 year with xbox I hope I can at least get an answer.

Please just tell me what to do so I can fix the issue.
