Why is my headset not working

Hi I bought this ear force recon chat headset it dosent work in my Xbox controller but if i plug it in a different controller it works also if i plug in a different headset it works on my controller it works

Oh really? Then why did my last headset work flawlessly?

Why are these headsets 5.1 Surround Sound as well, work PERFECTLY on every other game but this one?

Please, run the audio setup tool.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output.

Select the Audio setup option under Advanced.

Highlight the audio setup option you wish to use and then press the A button to begin the audio test.

1) yeah it's meant to be like that, the light shows that it is connected to the headset

2) not too sure but the headset works with my PC so I don't know why it isn't working with my xbox

But that isn't the problem, when i conect my headsets, the Xbox it dosen't has a hard time recocgnizing the headsets, directly the headsets don't work, but, at the first time i used them, they worked

and i don't understand why is this is happening.

If it’s still not working, test another headset if possible, just in case the issue might be with the headset jack or internal wiring.
