Why is my gta not showing and installing

If I may ask, may I know which platform device are you using to install your GTA game, is it on Windows PC, Xbox Series/One console, or Xbox 360 console?

Try to restart your console and then reinstall the game GTA from your my games and apps library. here's how:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select My games & apps > See all.

Choose Full library > All owned games. If a game you own hasn’t yet been installed on your console, you’ll see a download icon on the game title. Selecting the title will prompt you to install the game if you want to play it.

do you have other games in the queue before GTA IV?

GTA IV will show in My Games and Apps when it has finished downloading and installing

You're not suppose to install the play disc. There is a thread in the GTA 5 forum of why not to install it.

That reminded me why GTA 4 is one my all time favorite games, or was until the modders showed up on mass.
