Why is my gamertag different from my actual gamertag?

Note: is not my gamertag. This is the foreign gamertag I am logging into the website with. My ACTUAL gamertag that I created is 100% different.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, it does state in the
Gamertag update FAQ that the gamertag will showup a bit differently.

"We will also auto-format the gamertag to show the suffix subtly in a different font so focus will be on the name you chose but the suffix will always be shown."

So the suffix will still show, but it will be shown in a different font so it does not take away much attention from the actual Gamertag.

I am happy with my gamertag, that's why when you first make an account, you better make a gamertag you like. I've only changed my gamertag once, and that was because I used a different username on a game forum. And the name Legion sounds cool and it's nice
and simple. They don't need to make them free. Atleast be happy you can actually change your name, because PS3 cannot.

These are the steps to actually transferring the Gamertag to another Microsoft Account, though they do require an Xbox 360 and cannot be done on Xbox One:

You're almost there. Where you've seen you can move one but it requires an unlinked email address, you actually need to make a third one to move the Gamertag you do not want.
