Why is my Game Pass Ultimate not working?

Xbox games pass ultimate games to be connected to be online to be sure it's the correct licence, that is why it won't work in offline .

Let’s confirm on https://account.microsoft.com/services if your Game Pass Ultimate subscription is currently active. Then go to https://account.xbox.com/Profile if it shows your correct gamertag the same as the one you used on your app or console.

You need Game Pass Ultimate in order to use xCloud.

Could you explain me why is there $1 USD for Xbox Game Pass then? I've not seen Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered as part of Ultimate anywhere.

Before paying the next months or Ultimate I want to make sure it works OK...

I'm talking about a one month's worth of regular game pass being upgraded to ultimate if I just bought regular game pass 3 days ago and changed my mind that I wanted to upgrade to game pass ultimate why wouldnt they just charge me the difference which if regular game pass is 12 dollars after tax and ultimate is 18 why wouldnt I just be charged 6 dollars or why cant they cancel the regular game pass charge or refund it and charge me the 18 for the ultimate instead ..itd would be absolutely dumb to of just paid 12 dollars three days ago for regular game pass and then if I want to upgrade be charged a whole new 18 dollars to upgrade

Can you tell us what is happening or error message when you are using your Game Pass? And also, are you using this on an Xbox One, Series X, or a PC device?

Just so we can try to further isolate the issue as to why it is not working. I suggest to visit https://account.microsoft.com/services page as well. Kindly confirm if it shows active on your end, if it is please try to restart your device then try to play at least 2 or 3 online games to see if it will work. This is to identify if the problem is on 1 game only or all is affected. For Xbox series X just do a power cycle by turning off console for a minute or two then check again if same issue persist.
