Why is my Game Pass mobile app not recognizing my Ultimate subscription?

I have an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription that I've verified as active in my MS subscriptions. Recurring billing was on but I switched it off. The Xbox Windows app recognizes my Ultimate subscription and I can use Cloud Gaming without issues. I was even able to remotely play on my Xbox itself. From the Xbox, I could use the Game Pass app and claim today's quest reward points.

The Android Game Pass app is the only app not recognizing my current subscription. I've signed out and back in, cleared data from my phone and signed back in, and even uninstalled/reinstalled and signed back in. No results.

What happened and how can this be fixed?

I'm truly sorry to hear that you're not able to use all the game pass ultimate capabilities using the Android app.

We can try to isolate the problem a bit, for this and if possible please try downloading the game pass app on a different phone and check if the same happens

I'm having the exact same issue. Even charged me another $15.89 because it said I had no subscriptions yet it was already paid for last week.

I am having the exact same issue! Just renewed and upgraded to XBox Game Pass Ultimate, the phone app works fine, hell I can even use Cloud play. But on my PC, the XBox App doe not recognize my Game Pass subscription. I hope we will be reimbursed for the
lost time once the issue is fixed.

Yes! The gamepass app recognizes my gamepass ultimate subscription. It's a gamepass app bug.
