Why is my fortnite save the world updating Geting to 100% then stoping then when I cancel...

Aside from the service outages declared on the link, this could be related to the network as well which is why I would like you to go through the following steps to clear your Mac address and perform a quick power cycle:



Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.



After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

Another thing you should check is your NAT type. I would like you to check your NAT type if open because that could sometimes interfere. to check for the NAT type you can follow the steps below:



Settings > Network Settings > NAT type => It should be open.



If the NAT type is not open, you will need to open some ports with your internet provider. These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500
(UDP).

I never got into the BR of fortnite. Although I did buy fortnite when it 1st came out before BR to play save the world and it isn't so bad but I only play save the world once a week with my kids

I think you need to ask Epic support this. The Epic servers need to distribute in game login rewards as far as I know.

Also i think it may have been infulenced by the update that came out yesterday. It was installed at 9:45 which is about the time the world stoped generating.

Oh yea totally agree. So im a big call of duty fan i usually purchase the 100 season pass copy so i don't have to spend extra for map. For fortnite i paid for save the world to save money and earn vbucks rather then 10 20 bucks each time i want a skin. I
shortened my game list due to the extra cost.
