why is my Controller scrolling fast on Fallout 4?

Hey everyone!

So I decided to replay Fallout 4 but when I load the game; my controller wants to scroll stupid fast on the main menu unless im holding down the A button. Also, when loading a new save, the loading icon at the bottom flashes stupid fast also. I am on PC using a Standard Xbox One Controller. I havent had this issue with any other game from Gamepass, Steam, Epic, GOG, EA, or Ubisoft. Any help?

Hi,

Are you running this on a high refresh display?

This game is not designed to run at high frame rates. If you attempt to play this above 60fps, menu's will be become too fast, lock picking becomes almost impossible, and the physics will be either be very odd, or broken.

To fix it you have two options.

Lock the game FPS in your graphics driver control panel to 60fps
Or, change your display refresh rate to 60Hz

Tried everything to slow it down. nothing works. unmodded, fresh install, nothing

Have you tried adjusting controller sensitivity in the options?

Same mate, I absolutely lived on those games, my golden Fallout rule is no fast travel allowed. I would actually prefer a remastered Fallout than a new Elder Scrolls I reckon.
