It seems like you have migrated your Mojang account to a Microsoft account and are having trouble logging in with your Mojang name.

Let us check on this together and sort this out to assist your concern. However, before we proceed, we would like to ask few questions about it.

1. What platform are you playing (Xbox Console, PC or phone)?
   
2. Was this working before?
   
3. Recent activity or changes made before the issue appeared?
   
4. What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
   

These above questions would help us provide the necessary information. Once we have gathered all the information, we will formulate the viable solution to help you with your case.

For the meantime, let's diagnose the problem and do some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

You need to add a new account in the Minecraft launcher and sign in with your Microsoft account. Once you do that, it will automatically use the Microsoft account to log you in from the Launcher.



If that doesn’t work, you can try changing your Microsoft account password or go to your Mojang account profile page and start the migration again.

I have a external drive, should i unplug it befre resetting?
