Why is my 3 Month Membership not working

I entered my Xbox One Gold 3 Month Membership in. It went through fine when entering it. However, when I go to play a game on live, it says I need to sign up for Xbox live. Yet, it says I'm subscribed in my Xbox settings. Please help! I bough the same thing
for my son's Xbox One downstairs and it's doing the same thing.

WTF XBOX XBOX LIVE NOT WORKING

So I logged into cpxbox live earlier today and my live account was working just fine while playing call of duty. I put in grand theft auto v, try to join a party, and the console tells me I need an xbox live good membership to join a party. My membership
expires on the 13th of this month. I don't know why the hell it stopped working but I want it solved, because I paid for 3 month membership not a 2 month 20 day membership. What do I do?

Bought Xbox Live gold online but says i have free live when i log onto my xbox?

I bought a 3 month Xbox live membership online 2 days ago and when I try to log onto my Xbox account it still says i have xbox "silver" but on the website it tells me I have gold. Why is it not working?

Try removing the account from the console and then re adding it. It might take some time to update.

No this is definitely wrong. I am 100% certain that I've purchased 3 years in the past, it was on 3 years just a month or so ago!

As I've said, I've purchased 3 years of gold and I've had 1 year of silver in the past.

I checked my membership history, 2 of my 12 month memberships and 1 of my 3 months memberships has been removed. Why is this?

I'm actually pretty frustrated that the system has made this mistake as I'm completely certain that my tenure should be 3. I'd like this to be fixed as soon as possible please, as I've done nothing wrong on my part.

No I kind of agree. I paid $24.99 for a 3 month xbox live gold membership, I played it for a month and a half, and didn't play for a while after that. 2 or 3 months later when I go to play online, its says my gold membership ran out. Its *** up that they
charge you when you're not even using your xbox. I payed for 3 months of gold, only used 1 and a half, and even when I wasn't playing they were taking time off my membership. They should only charge and deduct your membership when you are playing. I bought
3 months of gold membership, I deserve 3 months of gold membership. So time of the xbox gold membership should only be taken off when you're logged in.

I am also a 12-month Gold Member, and I thought Xbox only needed to charge me once a year so I was just wondering why would I get suspended if I have already paid for my 12-month membership? Wouldn't it be more reasonable that I get suspended when my membership
runs out, not while my 12-month? I was last charged at 14/02/2012 for my renewal, and it hasn't gone 3 months and I'm already suspended.
