Why is Minecraft Preview only available for Xbox gamepass?

Minecraft Preview has stated that if you own a digital copy of Minecraft then you are able to download and play Minecraft Preview on Xbox.

Even though I own the digital copy it’s asking me to buy game pass if I want to play. I then downloaded the game through Xbox app but it’s still telling me to buy game pass. Does someone want to explain why they are lying straight to my face?

you still need a game pass subscription to play online and you need to be in the insider program

The promotion for the upgrade has expired. You will need to purchase the game on the Xbox one.

The digital copy of the game is crossplay enabled with Windows 10, Xbox one, VR, mobile and Nintendo Switch.

If you have Gamepass Minecraft will be available from the 4th of April in the Gamepass library.

Gamepass is only available on Xbox one and have a select list of Windows 10 games.

minecraft is only available through gamepass on console, needs to be purchased for every other platform including pc.

But why then are other games available ror game preview in denmark, if it was the whole preview program not avilable i would understand. But it is only Ark i cant find. other Game previews are available.

Xbox gamepass ultimate is allows for.multiplayer

Gamepass does not hence why it's cheaper

If you.did 3 months for.1 dollar deal thats only gamepaSs

And you would've.had to have gold .

separately to play games online

Gamepass allows you to download games.but not.play multiplayer

And cloud gaming is only available to the subscriber of gamepass ultimate not sub accounts until the family plans come out supposedly this summer
